Yacine is Ph.D. candidate and a member of the Political Sociology program group of the The Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research at the University of Amsterdam. He is an early career researcher who has been working in the field of migration for over five years with international organizations like the International Organization for Migration, as well as short consultancies. Yacine has researched on return and reintegration, forced displacement and labour migration in France, North Africa and the East and Horn of Africa. He is interested in discussions around decolonisation, post-colonial migration and social transformation.
